WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION

Each session begins with a short check-in so we can explore what is present for you that day.

From there I guide a gentle breathing practice and short meditation. Many people arrive breathing quickly or holding tension without realizing it. Slowing the breath gives the nervous system a chance to settle.

Learning to trust the breath often becomes a doorway to trusting the body again.

Once the body has settled, the rest of the session unfolds. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we sit quietly. Sometimes we include consensual platonic touch such as sitting close, holding hands, or cuddling.

Breath and touch work together in these sessions. The breath helps regulate the nervous system. Touch, when appropriate, reinforces the body’s sense of calm and connection.

Music and sound may also be part of the session. I sometimes incorporate gentle vocal toning or quiet singing. I was trained as a classical singer and have spent many years performing in vocal ensembles, and sound can be another way the nervous system settles and relaxes.

Sessions move slowly and intentionally. Nothing is rushed.

This work takes place within a clear professional structure.

Sexual touch or sexual services are not part of this work.

Clear communication and mutual respect are essential for this container to work. If someone is primarily seeking sexual services or is not comfortable respecting these boundaries, this work will not be a good fit.

Many clients work with me alongside therapy, coaching, or other personal growth practices. This work can complement those approaches, but it is not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
